eXtreme Toronto is looking for Writers

Welcome to eXtreme Toronto. Our goal is grow and promote extreme sports and their communities in and around the Greater Toronto Area. In order to do this we will provide users with a single point of information where they can tap into all the resources the Greater Toronto Area has to offer.

We can’t do this alone. We need volunteers who are actively engaged and knowledgable about each extreme sport especially as it pertains to utilizing the resources found around the Toronto area. This site has the potential to introduce Snowboarders to Kiteboarding and Kiteboarders to Rock Climbing, etc, which will only increase the fun and opportunities available in the area. Let’s make Toronto a fun place to live.

What are my responsibilities?

• Updating the site with any possible information a new or experienced member of the sport can use as a resource in order to further enjoy their sport
• Writing blogs about your outings, the conditions, the weather, events, and anything else going on in the community

How will this benefit me?

• You will be free to promote yourself, highlight your writing style, represent your club, business, and sport
• Free stuff? Well we are a newly starting company so nothing is promised but as the site launches now is the time to secure your position

Why don’t I start my own website?

• This site is already built for you, all you need to do is log on and type
• Advertising dollars will be spent promoting the site
• Web hosting and all other costs are already taken care of
• If you have an application or idea to integrate into the site we can pay for development costs
• We believe the synergies created by grouping all the top sports enthusiasts across Toronto will result in a stronger site
